I cannot figure out what this is. It doesn't quite look like a female cowbird. It was picking stuff off the sidewalk on the northeast corner of 86th St & Amsterdam. It got very close to people, but was wary enough when a dog went near.
It was yesterday evening August 4 about 7:30PM.
