The August pelagic trips are sold out, but there are still spaces on the Sep 12 Santa Barbara Island Booby pelagic (9 hours) and the Sep 13 12-hour pelagic. I was on a boat to Santa Barbara Island yesterday. It was not a pelagic birding trip and I was the only birder on board but we managed to see Cocos, Blue-footed and a Masked/Nazca Booby, Laysan Albatross (very unusual), Craveri's Murrelets and quite a few storm-pretrels.
