Weather:
Beautiful summer day! Temperature around 80 F. Light southerly winds to
start, with cloudless blue sky. Just after 12 pm EST the breeze began to
shift to the north and that is actually when the flight picked up. Fluffy
clouds formed inland and drifted towards the lake as well, making spotting
a little easier.

Raptor Observations:
Only a handful of raptors could be spotted moving in the early part of the
day, despite the southern winds. Nice push of Red-tailed Hawks and Bald
Eagles in the third hour on a more northerly lake breeze. As the lake
breeze kicked in stronger the flight stopped.

Lots of osprey activity again. A female kestrel was spotted flying low
from the marsh towards the lodge, being mobbed by swallows and purple
martins.

Non-raptor Observations:

Predictions:
Winds SSW 5-10 mph. Partly cloudy early on, but clouds increasing with
periods of showers possible. Could be some birds on the move before rains
set in, if they do.
