The Roseate Spoonbill, Glossy Ibis, and other birds have been spotted in Cell 2, providing great views for onlookers. Three Wilson's Phalaropes were also seen in Cell 2 this morning.
Cell 2 is a big hotspot this year for ducks, waders, and shorebirds.
A large section south of the grainery is currently closed due to road maintenance. This is mostly to/from and around the south agricultural fields.
Two Wood Storks were reported on Sunday, but their exact location remains unknown.

Sarah Morris is leading a field trip at the refuge on August 8, beginning at 8:30a, on behalf of the Audubon Society of Central Arkansas. The trip is free and open to birders of all experience levels.
