Just a heads up that Pasadena Audubon's annual fall pelagic from Dana Point is now open to non-PAS members. Though we focus more on where the birds are than what county we are in, last year our best bird was a very accomodating Red-footed Booby that happened to be in Los Angeles rather than OC waters https://ebird.org/checklist/S276577072. It's a great chance to get out and see some pelagic species on a really nice boat and the trip helps support the work of the Ocean Institute.
