The bird that Diane Etchison reported yesterday is alternating between sitting on rocks on the ocean side of the jetty, and foraged in the surf. Once again there is high surf on the beach and a medium crowd watching surfers.
As I started to leave, the bird flew about 200 feet up coast from the jetty where it was foraging at the surfline.
