Subject: [sbcobirding] Brant at Sands Beach, COPR
There was a Brant on Sands Beach this morning.  It stayed at the water's edge near where the Terns, Gulls, etc. were hanging out for a brief period before flying west with a group of Pelicans.  Lehman reports that this species is very rare here in mid-summer.
