Hi Tweets,
Pilchuck Audubon Society invites you to our annual *Swifts Night Out <https://www.pilchuckaudubon.org/swifts-night-out>*, a free community celebration of one of the Pacific Northwest's great wildlife spectacles: Vaux's Swifts swirling into their chimney roost at dusk.
*When:* Saturday, September 12 from 4:30pm till dusk (about 7:45pm) *Where:* Wagner Performing Arts Center (639 West Main Street, Monroe, WA 98272 <https://maps.app.goo.gl/wf2x5HvqcGannrQu7>) *Cost:* Free and open to all ages
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in as the swifts begin their aerial ballet overhead before pouring into the chimney to roost for the night. Volunteers from Pilchuck Audubon will be on hand to answer questions, share information about the swifts, and help you spot the birds as they arrive.
This event is part of our Vaux's Happening <https://www.vauxhappening.org/index.html> project, a west coast-wide effort to monitor Vaux's Swift roost sites and track their populations from Mexico to Canada.
We'll also have some wildlife-themed vendor booths and a food truck on site.
