Early morning walk at low tide did not turn up any new species of shorebirds for this location, but there was a definite increase in the number of Black-bellied Plovers and Willets this morning.
The Tern flock gradually increased after the tide turned but did not include either of the smaller terns (Common and Forster's) that were reported earlier in the week. I suspect both are still around and might be better looked for at a higher tide time.
