Hi folks,
After swearing two years ago that we would never drive the Control Rd. again, we were there this morning. The road seemed even worse today than two years ago! We found a wide-enough space to turn around and headed over to the Meadow Trail.
Birds of the day were a single Red-faced Warbler and seven Red Crossbills. The crossbills were near/on the ski lift gear near the end of the road. There were a male, a female, and five juveniles, quite a treat! I was going to try to get a photo of the crossbills, but found it rather difficult to get a photo when the camera battery's dead! 🙄
