That is Taylor Veach who found the Yellow-crowned Night-Herons.
When last seen at about 11:40 they were on the far side of the channel,
well below Pool 5. Heads up for where to stop and look is a dead tree on
the channel side of the road. Drive a bit past it, to where the channel
opens up (widens), look across the channel to a tall dead tree not close to
the channel. The YCNHs were to the right of the dead tree, coming forward
to the channel, standing against the bank, just barely in the water.
