I was in Elbing this morning. Someone told me there was a duck on the church roof. I went over to look and discovered a Black-bellied Whistling Duck! Then I was talking with someone under a shade tree, and the duck flew up and landed in the tree. I didn’t know that this species liked to land in elevated places.
