Hi, Sarah.
Congratulations on your retirement! How exciting! Two years ago I retired from teaching at 61 after 36 years. From my experience, I’m assuming that it hasn’t really sunk in yet, but wait until school starts! For the past two years I have been at the beach for the first day of school (and also for the first day of meetings and PD). It has been delightful! Let me know how you feel at the end of August and beginning of September - and ENJOY yourself! After about a year, I stopped thinking about school. It’s pretty nice! 😊
Take care and congratulations again!
Sevvy Stein
