I found three of them this morning with some difficulty. They were viewable from the first pullout on Slough Road through my scope, but they were quite distant and not easy to see. They were hanging out with the continuing group of Western Sandpipers that has been there since very early July. The Sandpiper group was down to 28 from a high of 71.
Shorebird movement continues through Coal Oil Point. Though I haven't turned up any new species over the past couple of days, the number of individuals has been gradually increasing, and we are still getting a good number of them in nice breeding plumage.
