Just a quick update on Bald Knob NWR in White County (free access/no permit required to enter).
An immature Roseatte Spoonbill, a single adult American Avocet, one dark ibis which was difficult to pick out facial details to make a clean identification, and three Forster's Terns -- were all seen in Cell 2.
In addition, these are the other species we saw in Cell 2:
DUCKS -- Mallard, Northern Shoveler, Hooded Merganser, Ruddy Duck and Lesser Scaup.
SHOREBIRDS -- Black-necked Stilt, Lesser and Greater Yellowleg, Pectoral Sandpiper, Killdeer, and Least Sandpiper.
WADERS -- Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Little Blue Heron, Snowy Egret, juvenile White Ibis.
