Most of the birds I see at our feeders are house sparrows and finches.  We have had Eurasian Tree Sparfrows in the past, but very rarely now.  However, I occasionally see a house sparrow with a gray/black spot on the side of the neck where the dark spot is on the Eurasian Tree Sparrow.  These are definitely house sparrows, but I wonder, could there be some hybridization going on?  Anyone have an idea/opinion/theory, or am I just nuts?
