Rode my bike right underneath an American Kestrel on a lamppost in Jimi Hendrix park, in Seattle's Central District this morning. Went in for a closer look. Without binocs I'd say female or juvenile because I didn't see the bright orange feathers the males have. Does anyone know if there was/is a nest in the area? Jill
