Hi Colleen,
There are likely many birders who can do this for the libraries, and I'm
one of them. I will call the Cheshire contact, but thought I'd answer you
as well. I'm a member/past President of Hartford Audubon and have led a
number of bird walks over the years, as well as have taught about birds
while as a science teacher (JUST retired!). I'm also on the Canton Land
Conservation Trust Board and can include information on places to go
birding in CT. Happy to do a training session for new, intermediate,or just
curious birders. I can share slides, information, and would include use of
our phones (ebird, Merlin and more) as part of the training. Please feel
