Check out youtube reviews? There are some monopods that have a
short 3-legged "foot"
that also have either a step-on release or one that has a one-handed
grip release ... either
method allows you to readjust the monopod quickly such as when picking
up and moving
or setting up after you've arrived. Don't forget to consider full
height length for -your- set up
(looking thru the viewfinder of the camera/spotting scope).
