To add to Chuck’s message, don’t label such a CTBirds email as spam, just delete it. Labeling it as spam will cause your email provider to recognize all CTBird emails as spam, even affecting people with the same provider as you. Also, if such a message or any CTBird email end up in your spam folder, label it as “not spam” then delete from your in-box.
