Subject: [ia-bird] Center Point Least Bittern Update
After the fog lifted at the marsh, I had only one sighting of a Least Bittern. At 8:30 a.m. one flew from the bank of cattails that border the east side of the road. It was skulking only a few feet from the road. Calls and songs were infrequent but at 8 a.m. they became very talkative for a brief period.
