Another thank you to Odette and all the Tweets who've been sharing stories of IDs gone wrong. I went to the Skagit hoping to see my first Snowy Owl during an eruption reported on Tweeters many years back. I spent a long day cruising back roads, stopping to scope anything white off in the distance. Record numbers of white buckets on fence posts. No Snowies. A perversely entertaining day!
