An injured COMMON GOLDENEYE continued along the Los Angeles River below the Los Feliz crossing in Atwater Village through July 7.
A SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER was at Piute Ponds on Edwards AFB (letter of permission required for access) on July 5. A BAIRD’S SANDPIPER was here on July 10.
A BROWN PELICAN was at the Sepulveda Basin in Van Nuys on July 8.
A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was at Wildwood Canyon Park above Burbank on July 3.
A NORTHERN PARULA was at a residence in Pasadena on July 4.
Two WILSON’S WARBLERS, an adult in the company of a recently fledged bird, were at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh near Playa del Rey on July 4.
Two SUMMER TANAGERS were along the San Gabriel River’s West Fork off Highway 39 on July 4. Another was at Piru Creek below Pyramid Lake on July 4.
