All,
The last time we did a yard list challenge was during Covid. I was LOS Pres, and Donna Dittmann worked up a spreadsheet and a set of rules for coastal, southern interior, and northern interior zones. Gave us something to do when we couldn’t do field trips. It was over LOS spring weekend and maybe fall weekend, too.
What about a seasonal challenge? Like a sort of yard Christmas Bird Count running from this day to that day, and you submit everything you documented during that time? Could also have Merlin-assisted category and non-Merlin category to keep it fair.
