Timing is everything, especially in birding. I could not believe my eyes when I saw a White-throated sparrow on the feeder tray, along with a female Housefinch. Did it miss the bus going north this spring?
Today happens to be the anniversary date that I became a US citizen many moons ago. The White-throated was a special gift.
