Of possible interest to NW Cal birders, at least four pairs of N Parula are attempting to nest in Curry Co Oregon this year. We have had a couple of previous nestings but not this many at the same time. Is NorCal getting Parulas this year?
Also in Curry are a possible nesting Gray Catbird, a couple of nonbreeding redstarts hanging out together and a male Chestnut-sided. Catbird numbers are up state-wide and they are widespread.
