Saw a magnificent Bald Eagle this afternoon perched in a tree in the middle of Los Capitancillos ponds east of Meridian. Two Caspian Terns (I think!) were mobbing another bald eagle flying around above it, and the terns spent the rest of the next hour fishing in the ponds. Also at least one adorable baby American Coot and some ducklings.
