Briefly saw a very small coppery hummingbird alight on a bare sunlit shrub twig this afternoon. Anyone seeing them lately as new visitors? It was immediately challenged and chased by a Anna's female. Haven't had any come through my yard in several years, since a neighbor took down a 40' Monkey Hand x Fremontia, (Chiranthofremontia lenzii) removing a valuable nectar source.
