The owlets left the nest last weekend and have been in the "branching" stage this week, and have been rigorously exploring the trees near where the nest itself is. As far as I can tell there were only ever 3 owlets in the clutch(which seems a bit on the lower side for LEOW) but they are all growing fast and have handled the recent severe weather episodes well. The parents are doing a great job of watching over them and keeping them well fed.
