Bay's Branch has been drained pretty much of most water. I saw this a week ago. It's a frog buffet and there are dozens of Great Blue Heron, a nice size flock of American White Pelicans. At far far north end, north of bridge, I have one ibis and several yellowlegs. I also had a leucistic Killdeer.
A man taking down fence last week said he thought they were going to be doing repairs; therefore, the drain. But he wasn't positive.
Lots of bullfrogs crossing the gravel at south end to get to the upper pond.
