Greetings Mendo birders -
I just crossed the Noyo Harbor bridge and it is looking mighty fine for
tomorrow's pelagic trip. Winds are coming down, high overcast making for
great pelagic viewing and photography, no fog in sight, flat seas and
swell. See below for more on what birds we might see, and conditions
will also be great for whale and dolphin watching. Whales are back,
including many Humpbacks seen for shore lately, and Blues observed over
Cordell Bank last Sunday.
We have room on the boat for whoever would like to simply show up at the
foot of North Harbor Drive at 7:15 tomorrow morning for 7:30 departure.
You can pay at the dock ($185) with cash, check, or card. Hope the fine
conditions will help you decide to come along for a great day on the water.
Cheers, Peter
