The American Oystercatcher was reported to be back at West Hazard Canyon on Monday evening, and I can confirm that it was still there around noon today (Tuesday) at low tide. It was foraging in mussel beds about 300 yds south (downcoast) from the point where the trail meets the ocean. If you do check that location, be very cautious while walking along the intertidal zone due to the uneven footing and slippery rocks.
