Hi all,On July 18th from 4:15PM to 6:15PM I will be leading an accessible birding outing at West Beach in Deception Pass State Park on Whidbey Island. This event is open to all and is focused on observing bird behavior, learning to identify birds, and just enjoying listening to and watching birds. Beginners and those with children are encouraged to attend. Loaner optics will be available. There is no walking for this event, just park next to the viewing area and sit or stand and observe the birds for as long as you want. Attendees can come and go as they please at any time during the two hour sit.Address is 41229 State Route 20 Oak Harbor, WA 98277. We will be at the picnic table at the North end of the parking lot that overlooks the channel between the islands.
