Hi Everyone,
Late this morning, I biked around A16. I only had my binoculars and didn't try to ebird everything. But, it was a very nice morning. The islands are busy with all sorts of birds. *American White Pelicans*, *Brown Pelicans*, *Gulls*, and *Double-crested Cormorants* were loafing around. *Forster's Terns* with young fluffy young were everywhere. *Eared Grebes* were on nests in the shallow water. The large gravel island past the observation deck (island 8) is full of *Caspian Terns* and a small group of *Black Skimmers *are on island number 5.
The main parking lot is closed but the porty-potties are open. I parked in the small dirt lot just before the entrance gate.
