Cook's Petrel (Pterodroma cookii) (1)

- Comments: "Large petrel with long thin wings. Seemed a little darker than earlier Cooks on the uppers but white on the undersides. Not a shy bird. Was loafing on the water until the ship was 30yds off then flushed and crossed ships bow from east to west. Other encounters with Cooks showed a similar disinterest in the ship."
