- Comments: "Singing from bulrushes, not seen and barely audible above sound of mower and Madonna Road noise. Heard from paved trail south of park bathroom parking area and toward Madonna Road at approximately 35.26196, -120.6840. (audio)"

Its song, with a trill, led us to west side of San Gabriel to a sycamore tree. Finally found the very active Parula moving from branch to branch. It was constantly singing but lots of traffic noise for a recording. Small, bluish gray head and back with yellow on throat and upper breast. Yamina got nice photos 😊"

- Comments: "Alerted to this adult male down creek from the San Gabriel Rd. bridge by its buzzy, trill song. This small warbler had a dark, rufous and black breastband indicating it was a male, yellow throat and upper breast and signature yellow lower mandible. The bird was mostly white below, gray/blue above with a green mantle, white eye-arcs, two bold white wing-bars, dark band at base of undertail and dark tail tips. As it worked its way up creek towards the bridge the bird stayed high in the sycamore canopy singing loudly."
