There are a few spaces left for the all-day pelagic this Sunday June
14. Weather looks nice, wind less than 10 knots and seas less than 5
feet, so we should get well offshore. Warm-water birds like Cocos Booby,
Nazca Booby, Black Storm-petrel, and even Red-billed Tropicbird have
been seen already this year off Mendocino; anything is possible. Last
year in mid-June we hit the Cook's Petrel jackpot, the first time those
were seen on a Mendo pelagic. We have several great spotters on board
for this trip so it should be a good one.
