My fourth or fifth encounter with a bittern in this location this year, which continues from many encounters last year. Small orange bittern with big white upper wing patches and dark cap. Seen briefly flying along reed island where it darted into tangles and disappeared."

- Comments: "Observed on private property from the sidewalk. Bright yellow and olive adult male with a plain yellow face framed by a black hood. Also observed it on several occasions flashing its white outer tail feathers. It was loudly singing throughout the entire observation. Photos"

Warbler was not in view when I arrived but was spotted by KH after about 15 minutes. It had been very active but mostly hidden in the low shrubs of the yard. It dropped to the ground to forage and was seen briefly but clearly for a few seconds by everyone before it disappeared back into the shrubs. The warbler was olive above and yellow below, its face was yellow with a black hood encompassing the cap, nape, neck and throat. It would sing occasionally and at times loudly while staying hidden in the shrubs. I was unable to get a photo but other birders present did manage a few photos."

- Comments: "Continuing bird first found by pair of wing nuts earlier this morning. Heard loud buzzy, ascending song with “snap” at end consistently from large sycamore on west side of road. After some time, KD and I eventually saw the bird flitting around quickly between several branches, singing while it moved. Eventually it moved to another sycamore across the street. Gray head and back, yellow breast with burgundy throat patch. Yellow/greenish patch on back. White crescents around eyes. Whitish belly. Photos."
