After thinking about this idea off and on for years, I have finally decided to go ahead and create a WhatsApp group for Orange County. Nearly all other major counties in the state have a group like this. The WhatsApp is NOT meant to be a complete replacement of this listserve. It is instead intended to be a faster, and easier supplement in the field for timely rarity reports. I understand a lot of people may wish to continue using the listserve, and therefore encourage future rare bird reports to be sent here as well as WhatsApp. Please read the group description and guidelines for more important information.
