Some target species for the Atlas Big Weekend (and beyond) that are still unconfirmed for San Francisco and areas where they might be found:
Ruddy Duck - Lake Merced
White -throated Swift - highway overpasses along 280, the 101/280 interchange near Alemany Flea Market, Presidio, City Hall(were confirmed here in years)
Common Gallinule - per Keith Maley presumably the same bird he found in April is still present in the Impound Lake/Concrete bridge Lake Merced
Green Heron - Lake Merced
Acorn Woodpecker - Lafayette Park
Northern Flicker - Mount Davidson (pair still present as of a couple days ago), Mount Sutro/Sutro Radio Tower Hill, Presidio/Tennesse Hollow/El Polin, Land's End/East Wash
American Kestrel - Paul Saraceni has continued to observe an adult in the vicinity of Crane Cove/Pier 94 as of several days ago, check warehouses and other buildings in the area for a cavity
Peregrine Falcon - Alcatraz, Downtown
Western (Pacific-slope) Flycatcher - Glen Canyon, McLaren Park, Presidio - especially redwood grove /ecology trail area, Mount Sutro Historic trail coming up from Stanyan
Wrentit - Battery to Bluffs Trail/Presidio
Scaly-breasted Munia - Pine Lake
Swainson's Thrush - Mount Davidson, Glen Canyon, Mount Sutro OSP, Mountain Lake Park, El Polin/Presidio, Willow Thickets along Land's End Trail/West Wash
Common Yellowthroat - Lake Merced, Sutro Baths Marsh, Chain-of-Lakes GGP (esp North Lake)
