Subject: [inlandcountybirds] Kentucky Warbler
There is an adult male Kentucky Warbler behind the US Forest Service Rock
Camp Fire Station 13 on Hwy 173 north of Lake Arrowhead. It was found in
the morning (6/3) by Laurie Shanen and seen again in the afternoon by Gavin
Aquila and Gary and Traudy McLarty.

Here is a link to the location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/D2SBNoSZeazYwH3q9

Starting from Hwy 173 walk up the drive into the station but stay right.
After about 400 feet you will come to a fork where the Metate/Rock Camp
Trail goes left and an old unused road goes right. Stay to the right.
From the fork you can see a gate across the road. Go past the gate and
continue till you come to a small riparian strip crossing the road about
1/4 mile from the fork mentioned above. There is a very small creek with
just a trickle of water in it but with dense underbrush following its
course. The bird was in the underbrush on either side of the road. It was
much more easily heard than seen.
