Update:
I returned briefly to the spot and found Bob & Juli, we got good prolonged
looks at the bird but no vocalizations. In better light than I had this
morning, it may have been a false alarm and just be a Western. Obviously
conclusive recordings would be best if anyone happens to come by later
today. (The vocalization I heard this morning was still interesting)
