At 8am driving west on I-40 just before exit 285 i saw what appeared to be a sandhill crane.
At first i thought it was a GBH. But it flew with neck and legs extending front and back. Also flight was more lumbering. Body and overall structure bulkier than GBH.
Sun was also at my back and the bird was well lit.
Looked like it was flying just over the trees, maybe not going far.
