Dear Dixie,

These are something like a 'cute hoax.' They are completely invented fantasy, and no hummingbird would ever use one.

Just days ago, I came across an AI generated advertisement for this product on the internet, and was shocked at how brazen it is:

Sorry they won’t be adopted by hummingbirds ! I hope they are a least cute?

Subject: [CT Birds] Hummingbird houses?

For Mother's Day I was given a set of 3 little hummingbird houses. I have
never heard of such a thing. Is it possible that they would even consider
using them? They don't have a hole like a bird house, but one side is open
and there is a perch in the front. Cute, but I am questioning their value
as a bird house.
