White face, orange bill and legs. Was able to observe from 10 ft away and compare with Merlin pictures. Pictures to be loaded. Other eBird sightings as well."

- Comments: "Picture I have matches extremely well with mountain bluebird female. Faint blue on tail with solid grayish upper body. Nothing else in area would fit size. Color was too continuous to be western"

- Comments: "Heard the distinctive repeated chatter and immediately started a recording. Did not get a good look but was occasionally vocalizing for about five minutes before it moved on. Near ‘The Font Problem’ boulder at Brickyard climbing area in brushy mixed chaparral and oak tree vegetation. Chatter calls heard at 0:40 and 0:48 in the attached recording (a gnatcatcher is also present)."
