A female Magnificent Frigatebird was sighted flying along the coast over San Clemente Wednesday morning, May 20th. Observer was a park ranger who took a quick photo of it from his cellphone. The photo is rather fuzzy, but it does show the shape of the wings, body and tail, with a blurry white marking on the underside of chest.
This report was sent to me this morning by Laylan Connelly who learned about it from the ranger; that's why this report is 1 day late.
