Twenty-two new species for April - Royal Tern, Vaux's Swift, Black-headed Grosbeak, Cassin's Vireo, Lawrence's Goldfinch, Lazuli Bunting, Cocos Booby, Baltimore Oriole, Common Gallinule, Red-necked Phalarope, Wood Duck, Parasitic Jaeger, Broad-winged Hawk, Olive-sided Flycatcher, Hammond's Flycatcher, Yellow-breasted Chat, Painted Redstart, Long-eared Owl, Swainson's Thrush, Black-chinned Hummingbird, Western Wood-Pewee and Lark Sparrow - brought us to 246, setting a new record through the end of April.
