Subject: [Ohio-birds] Hamilton big year musings
Picked up a Wilson’s this morning. Sharon woods. 205. Heard and seen well!
It’s definitely slowed down here. We had the usual species. I think. Seemed like
Low numbers though. That can be hard to judge. When I get back from vacation,
I'll be concentrating on breeders I need. As I explore for odes, etc. BB Cuckoo, least
Bittern. Acadian fly! Nighthawk. Screech owl. Etc. then hope for cape May and
Mourning warbler during fall migration. And golden winged!

Might be a little wrinkle in my plans. AJ Jolly lake in Kentucky has been drawn
Down for dam repair. And other repairs. And the shorebirds have found it!!
Shorebirds first with me. I'll be spending time there!

It’s all good. I'll have to see how far it is from Lost Bridge. Hmmm. Fun!

Good birding all.
