Rainy, drizzly morning at EBCA. Lots of "fluddles" due to our 3.5 inches of rain. Highlights were an olive-sided flycatcher on a dead snag above the pool 1 gate; and a least tern as I was leaving (about 1p). It was working the area right before the junction house; continually flying back/forth, occasionally diving. I watched it about 20 minutes before I left.
Appr. 20 black terns were using the lower distribution channel ; a few shorebirds in pool 10 but nothing unusual. There seem to be 2 pairs of scissor-tailed flycatchers; and eastern kingbirds, dickcissels, and indigo buntings were abundant (and understatement).
