The spring meeting was a great success! Because of a great team effort. Todd Jensen, Dave Swanson and Chris Anderson were great trip leaders. Bob Bork & Chris were a great help with registration & finances.
The Turner Standing Butte Ranch manager Luke Ridder and his wife Kay were superlative hosts on our grassland species tour of the ranch.
Silka Kempema USFWS with helper Jaci Baker USFS had a bird banding station Saturday morning and I am very grateful for their time & effort.
So far an amazing 191 species were seen in the area Friday-Sunday. An unbelievable 25 species of warblers and warbler want to be Yellow-breasted Chat were seen.
It takes all the participants to make a good meeting and we had that.
